The Girl Generation is now the largest global collective of organisations working together to end FGM.
We now have over 700 members across countries and continents, resulting in forging of new synergies and relationships, sparking the launch of new campaigns and networks working together, and building momentum and energy behind the global movement to End FGM.
Together we can end FGM by 2030 - building collaboration and dialogue, supporting those at the grassroots of the movement, and working through key institutions and like-minded partners to inspire and influence change.
We believe that local actors are best placed to adapt and deliver communications approaches in their immediate context, addressing the social norms that underpin FGM and delivering sustained change.
Now working in 10 of the most affected countries in Africa - the Africa-led movement to End FGM is vibrant and inspirational.
