Kimbilio Trust is a women human rights organization founded to address violence against women and girls as well as to empower women to live their fullest potential. They work with the communities resource persons to create a demand for service delivery by duty bearers where the women agenda is concerned. Community awareness, gender responsive budgeting, policy development and participation in development of gender sensitive legislation have been our core fortes. Kimbilio trust has been working towards providing a figurative safe haven for victims/ survivors of violence against women and girls.
Through the 1193, toll free helpline; Kimbilio trust provides crisis phone support and information to survivors/ victims of violence and their families. Women are able to call and access information on where to get help as soon as they need it. The helpline works as a linkage between victims/ survivors of violence against women and girls and service delivery.
