Population Media Center-Ethiopia is a US based international NGO working in the area of multi-media communication Campaign addressing reproductive health issues, harmful traditional practices and in particular female genital mutilation/cutting. PMC Communication Strategies include research based and behaviour change focused radio serial drama, special radio talk show in three national languages, printing of special leaflets, booklets and books and capacity building training workshops for change agents (journalists and media practitioners, writers, youth and women associations leaders from all Ethiopian regions, religious and clan leaders, law enforcement bodies and population programme managers. PMC is working in partnership with government, non-governmental and international organizations, such as Ministry of Women, Children and Youth, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, UNICEF, Save the Children International, Norwegian Embassy, USAID, Packard Foundation, UNIFPA, etc…
Project ACEi is a leading community action group founded by a FGM Survivor based in the London Borough of Enfield working to promote a strong sense of awareness, education and community engagement in tackling female genital mutilation (FGM) within affected communities in Enfield.
Their vision is a world free from FGM. Their aim is to work with communities, young girls and their families, to help empower and educate all those involved in female genital mutilation, to help change their views and change the future of young women.
They will act, and are committed in empowering communities whilst helping to facilitate local capacity building through sharing of information and providing opportunities for frontline professionals to gain a greater understanding of the complications associated with FGM in supporting those living with FGM.
They also advocate against all forms of gender based violence through education and training programs.
Rape Crisis Surrey and Sussex: Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RCSAS) are a women-only independent organisation based in Crawley. They were established in 2015 as part of Ministry of Justice’s commitment to expanding the number of specialist VAWG organisations. Rape Crisis South London (RASASC) won the tender to establish the centre along the same lines and professionalism as the South London centre. They provide a high standard of professional support to female survivors of sexual violence. They are a member of Rape Crisis (England and Wales) and a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited Counselling Centre. Their core services include National Helpline (Freephone 0808 802 999) Counselling Mon-Friday (10-6), Group Therapy, Advocacy Mon-Friday (10-6), Outreach Mon-Friday (10-6), Research, Training and FGM Therapy and Awareness Raising. Their FGM work comes under their vision to end all forms of sexual violence against women and girls. They are dedicated to ending FGM and its devastating effects via therapy, support, awareness raising and campaigns.
Seeds of Africa Foundation is an organization based in Adama, Ethiopia that runs a variety of education and community development programs. They run a free school with an innovative project-based curriculum that teaches children to think for themselves and work very closely with our students' mothers to provide adult literacy classes, entrepreneurship training, health seminars and microloans for women to start or grow their own businesses.

The Murua Girl Child education program is focused on the girl child and the African woman, empowering, educating, mentoring and equipping her to be the face of change in Africa.
Through this program, young girls are given an opportunity to have an education, own their bodies, their choices and their future.
They work to promote girls education and raise awareness to end FGM and stop child marriage. They use their experience and exposure to empower girls in their community and help them make informed choices.
