The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), Kenya, was established by an Act of Parliament on 24th July, 2012.
The Authority’s main focus is on demand reduction, which involves providing preventive education, public awareness, life skills, treatment, rehabilitation and psycho-social support to the general public. It also contributes towards supply suppression through policy formulation and capacity building.
Kanifing Municipal Youth Committee is a regional youth committee established by an act of parliament responsible of coordinating, controlling and monitoring the activities. It has over 20 other local youth organisations registered under them.
