Louise is the Communications Officer for The Girl Generation. She produces communications material and develops positive stories of change from the grassroots to the global level.
Her academic background is in international development with a focus on gender and development, as well as conflict and development. She is passionate about women’s rights and ending gender-based violence. Prior to joining The Girl Generation, she worked at the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre as the Communications Assistant. Additionally, she has research experience working for a gender and climate justice NGO based in Berlin that advocates for gender equality, women’s rights and climate justice.
Louise is particularly interested in the role of women’s agency in relation to issues of injustice. She holds an MSc in International Development from The University of Bristol and a BSc in Politics and Sociology from the same university.
