Liza is a development specialist with over 6 years’ experience and high impact results in gender and development in Africa. She is a passionate equality crusader with excellent people skills.
Currently the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager at The Girl Generation, Liza is responsible for driving forward a results-oriented and strategic approach to programming. She leads the process of carrying out social movement scorecard assessments across the focal countries and offering management of all M&E activities of The Girl Generation and its subsequent projects. She is also responsible for knowledge management and documentation to enhance evidence-based decision making.
Prior to joining The Girl Generation, Liza worked on a variety of programmes including peace building and conflict resolution, women leadership and governance, gender mainstreaming in public universities, youth empowerment, women’s human rights and mentorship for girls. She also brings experience from various donors e.g. USAID, UN WOMEN, HIVOS among others.
