Need a little extra help?
The End FGM Grants Programme provides much-needed support to poorly resourced grassroots organisations working to end FGM. Currently, grants are available in Kenya, Nigeria and The Gambia, but the programme will be rolled out in The Girl Generation countries in future rounds.
We use a flexible and simple process to enable our members to access funds quickly which can be used to accelerate social change to end FGM through communications, advocacy and campaigning.
The types of grants available for funding include:
|Small grants||US$ 4,000 – US$ 10,000|
|Medium grants||US$ 10,000 – US$ 20,000|
|Large grants||US$ 20,000 – US$ 50,000|
|Local travel grants||US$ 1,500|
|International travel grants||US$ 3,500|
Deadline for the second and final round of applications for grants in Kenya, Nigeria and The Gambia: 3 March 2017
Please note that we will no longer have a third round of applications for these countries as earlier communicated. We urge all those who were planning to submit a proposal in the third round to do so now within this second and final round of applications.
